I think there should be a check box that allows us to make it where we don't have to login everytime. Just remained signed in by selecting a check box that says "Remember username and password."

well, that may be a good idea for some, not to remember the password though...

I just type in my user ID and password and that's it. but maybe it's a good idea

I'm not sure about remembering both user name as well as password, sa I would think some people might always rely on that so they don't remember their password after awhile. At least that what I'd be afraid of, which is why I probably would not use that feature myself. However, I do think it would be cool if we could choose whether or not for the site to remember our user names, like how Hotmail has it.

Bad idea. What if people are accessing this site from a school computer? When that computer is shared with other people it will increase the probability that one can sign in with another person's credentials, we have enough trouble with that as is, since whenever someone does something that said person would be banned for, he/she claims it was someone that sat down at his/her computer but not the person him/herself.
So, whereas this feature would work with home computers it would not be as desireable with other computers and typing in a user and pass can't be all that terribly hard.

Hell I use windows to remember my passwords on my home computers, so type in the user id and then hit enter. It is as easy as that.

I don't like that feature. You will never believe the customers I get at work that don't remember passwords because of that feature. Plus windows will get confused and start telling you your username and password is in correct even though you are typing in the right one so you have to go into internet options and clear the passwords.

easy, if you are on a school computer, don't check the box

I wish it was that easy, unfortunately loasd of ppl don't think and check the box anyways, creating all sorts of confusion.

This is a great idea, however like everyone else had said here, if you checked that box while you were at school on a computer there then that would give anyone access to your account. I'm sure you wouldn't want that now would you?

However if you were on your own computer at home then it wouldn't be much of a problem for you, but I don't see why you can't just type in the your username and your password it don't take but a second or so to do. It's the safest thing to do, in my opinion.

I use the windows thinggy to remember the password. i think what they should do is set it so after a certain amount of time, if you loggin, it will remember your user but you will need to comferm your password.
